Condition Details

All of our garments are authentic vintage pieces with a unique history of their own. We record any and all visible details of note in the listed photographs. Upon purchase an additional condition report can be provided to ensure confidence in your commitment to purchase.

Please keep in mind that even an 'immaculate' item is not brand new and will have experienced some level of wear in its lifetime. The textiles age should always be considered as our stock can range from 40 to over 100 years old. We cannot guarantee how vulnerable a garment might be to stress and we do not accept returns.

Our listings are classified against this table of condition:

Immaculate	No visible damage or wear on the item.
Near Perfect	The garment may have minor flaws that are not directly visible when worn.
Imperfect	The item suffers from several small imperfections and/or one large visible issue.
Damaged	An item that has suffered considerable damage. However the fabric and pattern may be unusual and glorious enough to still enjoy or repurpose.

 

We recommend dry-cleaning for all of our items unless stated otherwise. Treat them with care and they'll last another hundred years!
