Summer Events!
With summer awaiting us with open arms, we couldn’t be more thrilled to announce some exciting ways DRESS will be sharing our joyful pieces at different events around Dorset in 2022! As well as our plans for the shop from June through to August.
To keep you in the loop as to where to find us out and about, we’ve put together a diary of what we have on for the coming sunny months so you can follow along!

Hauser & Wirth Jubilee Event - June 3rd
On June 3rd we will be at Houser & Worths, Bruton, for their Sculpture Celebration with a pop up shop of signature 1950s dresses to mark her majesty’s jubilee. Join us there as we share striking, one-of-a-kind vintage pieces from Mary’s discerning collection, available to buy and enjoy; you won’t want to miss these treasures! With all sorts of fun activities for all the family, and delicious food from Roth Bar and Grill it is guaranteed to be a joyous day! Buy tickets to the all day event here.
Melplash - August 25th
If you can’t make it in June, fear not. We will once again be making an appearance at the Melplash show on August 25th, with more cotton summer delights from across the eras!
While all the fun is going on, back at our South Street base we have our upcoming collections in preparation…
June Hang
For June we invite you into a white and floaty heaven of high summer textiles. Floral chiffons, delicate lawns and drifting silks and cottons from the early 20th century will fill our rails and have you dreaming of weekends well spent on the shores of West Bay. We won’t give too much away but it will certainly feel like summer has arrived!
July - August
And to round off the summer we end on our ever adored Sale! With extra rails to stuff the shop with goodies, we bring a mix of high end designer items from the likes of Jil Sander, Dries Van Noten and Miu Miu (to name a few) at discounted prices, as well as unexpected and unusual one off pieces from Mary’s travels around the world! With a rail of some of our Vintage treasures at sale prices too we promise it’s unmissable!
