  • May Musings

Garments with depth and texture and intrigue keep you coming back for more, excited to wear them again and again. They feel as though they are giving back to us; patterns to get lost in, embroidery and ruffles, ribbon bows and lace appliqués, boleros and beads, they were never afraid to be generous in their offerings. With wide seems allowances and large turned up hems, these pieces can grow and change with us as we age. Restyled and reimagined with every new wear, we adore items that breathe life into an entire wardrobe and enrich the lives of those who wear!
  • What May Brings

Chic and oh-so effortless tea-dresses are the focus of our May collection; with their light weight and easy style-ability they are a staple piece for the warm weather months! • 1950s Delights for April

With signature favourites from iconic Fashion House Horrockses, we bring you pieces from their golden era in the signature stripe, unique and charming florals, and geometric surprises. Other designers gracing our rails this month are 1950s and 60s couture Jacques Heim, as well as  Frank Usher also from the mid-century.
  • The Year Marches On

This month at Dress, we have followed a colour themed inspiration, to reflect our feeling of connection with Mother Earth.

The pale azure of uplifting summer skies in mid century pieces, including our favourite tule ball gown by Bellville Et Cie, worn by Ann Hathaway in 2006. As well as a divine Ceil Chapman silk cocktail dress. Our white evening and wedding dresses: the billowing clouds drifting by.

  • February Anew

Here at DRESS, we can’t wait to bound into 2022 and get back to doing what we love best!  Hence, our spring newsletter comes earlier this year before buds have burst and days lengthen. A new optimism is rustling our metaphorical petals.

To get hearts aflutter, we are featuring yards and yards of scrumptious white, cream, ivory and café latte net, silk, organza and tulle to celebrate all the weddings ahead of us this year…

  • Finally, Spring is here!

“It’s been a long hard lonely winter” to quote The Beatles Songbook, but taking our inspiration from cherry blossom, bursting buds and a cacophony of birds, the team here at Dress look forward to welcoming back all our old friends and clients, ready to inspire you with new ways of wearing clothes.
