Averardo Bessi was an Italian fashion designer who began creating clothes for men and women in the 1950’s post World War II. The much sought after vintage design label flourished more in the women’s fashion world than in the men’s. Much of his designs were created to give a contemporary look for women to enhance their femineity with slick designs. These bold and colourful prints were soon in demand and continues to carry a strong fashion statement to this day.
