A Change of Season

“Season of Mists and mellow fruitfulness” It’s autumn and memories stir of John Keats’s evocative poem: ‘Ode to Autumn”. 

“later flowers for the bees,

until they think warm days will never cease….

while barred clouds bloom the soft-dying day”

Autumn has its music too, and so it is that in October Dress has chosen its palate from the colours of nature:  water, earth and sky.

While later this month mischief is afoot when Halloween casts its wicked spell upon the darkening days of November, we focus on the little black dress, interspersed with flirty frocks in chocolate and toffee shades. With strong marine party attire and soft cream wedding gowns, we’re ready to dress every event in Dorset. From espresso chiffons to cappuccino velvets. Latte foam lace and mocha tule. Pumpkin spiced tweeds and ginger knits.
